Rotate PDF pages

Turn one page or every page, left or right. The angle is written into the file, so it stays turned in any other PDF reader.

How to rotate PDF pages

  1. 1Open your PDF in the editor.
  2. 2Select the pages you want to turn in the sidebar, or select none to turn the page you are reading.
  3. 3Press Ctrl+L to rotate left or Ctrl+R to rotate right. Press again to keep turning.
  4. 4Save. The angle goes into the file itself.

Why rotate here

The rotation is real, not a view setting

Many readers let you turn a page on screen and forget it when you close the file. Here the angle is written into the PDF, so whoever opens it next sees it the right way up.

Undo works

Rotation sits in the same undo history as everything else. Ctrl+Z steps back, and nothing is written until you save.

One page or all of them

Select a single scanned page that came in sideways, or select every page at once — same two shortcuts either way.

Common questions

Will the rotation stick when I email the file?

Yes. It is stored in the PDF, not in this app, so every reader shows it the same way.

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Click that page in the sidebar first, then rotate.

Does rotating re-compress the pages?

No. Only the page’s rotation value changes; the content is untouched.
